ANNALISA COSTA

My name is Annalisa and I am a sicilian licensed guide. I live on the western slopes of Etna, but in the last years I also lived in different cities of Italy where I studied and worked as archaeologist. I graduated in Humanieties at University of Rome,

I hold a specialization in Prehistory at the University of Milan and a PhD at University of Trento where I have been involved in several project about pottery technic production and experimental archaeology.

I have a long experience in archaeological excavations in Italy and abroad (Turkey, Switzerland) and in the study of rock art engravings in the first Unesco heritage site of Italy (Valcamonica).

I collaborated with several museums, universities and associations and since I came back to Sicily as a Tour Guide, I really love to share my knowledge on many aspects of Sicilian Culture.
